Jason Momoa workout routine was developed by his trainer Eric Laciste. The workout is not hard to memorize, but it is pretty intense. What you need to do is do seven reps seven times, with five to seven-second rest between the reps. After that, you do six reps six times, and then five reps five times. The routine goes like this:
- Round 1: 7 reps for 7 times (seven-second rest)
- Round 2: 6 reps for 6 times (six-second rest)
- Round 3: 5 reps for 5 times (five-second rest)

1. Parallel bar drip
Grab a set of parallel bars, and lift yourself until your arms are straight (don’t lock it though). Then, slowly lower yourself until the upper section of your arm is parallel with the floor. Once you’ve done that, pull yourself up and repeat the process.
2. Overhand grip pull-up
Grab a pull-up bar and make sure the hands are in-line with the shoulders. after that, slowly pull yourself up until your chin passes the bar. Make sure you go back down slowly and repeat until the rep is done.
Bring your palms to the floor, and make sure they are only slightly wider than the shoulders. Straighten your back, and lean on your heels. Then, slowly bring your body down until the elbow is higher than the upper arm, then bring yourself back to the original position quickly.
4. Weighted back squat
Open your feet, no more than your shoulders’ width. Bring a barbell at the back of your shoulder. Go down slowly until your thighs are parallel to the floor, and stay in that position for a few seconds. After that, bring yourself up to the original position slowly.
