The story of Kellan Lutz is very inspiring, he had a hard time early in his life but he fights and wins. 6 feet tall with strong muscles Kellan born on 15th March 1985, he is an American model and actor.

He is well known for his role in the Twilight series. We also saw him in the “Immortals” and “The Legend of Hercules” which make him the Greek God.

To perform a greek mythology character he wants a sound body with perfect v shape and abs, for which he follows a hard routine working-out and diet plan.

The goal of the workout routine of Kellan Lutz is to lose weight and to gain muscles. He combines HIIT cardio with weight training to achieve this goal.

He takes cardio in the morning and weight session in the afternoon. Cardio in the morning is like warm-up his body to get fired up for the day, it also helps him to burn fat.

Afternoon session combines with protein diet to gain muscles, that is how to get both of the workout goals.

Day 1 – 

He takes Cardio with Upper body training.

Morning Session – 

  • Warm-up 
  • Sprint 
  • Catch Breath 
  • Bear Crawls – On the Treadmill. 
  • Dios
  • Cool-down

He performs this in 30 minutes. 

Afternoon session – 

  • Medicine Ball Slam – 5 sets with 10 reps each.
  • Bench Press – 5 sets with 5 reps each
  • Pullups – 3 sets with 5 reps each
  • Alternative DB shoulder Press – 3 sets with 12 reps in each.
  • One-arm Row – 3 sets with 12 reps each
  • Hammer Curl – 3 sets with 10 reps in every set
  • Triceps cable pushes down – 3 sets with 10 reps in each.
  • Farmers walk – 3 sets of 40 yards
  • Kettlebell – 5-10 sets with 10 reps in each set.
  • Burpees – 5-10 sets with 10 reps in each.

Day 2 –

For the second day, he takes lower body exercises with the daily cardio

Morning session

  • Sprint – 10 sets
  • Catch breath 10 sets
  • Bear Crawl – sets
  • Dips – 3 sets with 20 reps in each.
  • Cooldown

Afternoon Session 

  • Box Jump – 5 sets with 8 reps in each 
  • Squat – 5 sets with 5 reps in each 
  • Romanian Deadlift – 3 sets with 8 reps in each.
  • Standing Call Raise 3 sets with 20 reps in each.
  • Walking Lunge – 2 sets with 20 reps in each
  • Goblet Carry – 3 sets with 40 reps in each.

Day 3 –

For day three Kellan gets out of the gym and performs only cardio and HIIT cardio exercises including running around 3 miles.

Kellan Lutz also knows the jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai – martial art forms, he performs these too on the third day.

Again on day 4, he takes upper body exercise with cardio.

  • Barbell bent-over row – 4 sets with 5 reps
  • Barbell curl – 4 sets with 12 reps
  • Skull crusher – 4 sets with 12 reps
  • Farmers walk – 5 sets of 40 yards 
  • Burpees – 5-10 sets with 10 reps.

Day 5 –

Lover body with cardio 

Morning session – 

  • Sprint 
  • Catch Breath
  • Bear Crawls
  • Dips
  • Cool Down

Afternoon session 

  • Broad Jump – 3 sets with 5 reps
  • Deadlift – 5 sets with 5 reps
  • Goblet Squat – 3 sets with 15 reps
  • Seated Calf Raise – 3 sets 20 reps
  • Step-ups – 3 sets with 10 reps
  • Goblet Carry – 5 sets of 40 yards.

Day 6 –

For day 6 he takes cardio, running a martial training session, etc, like day 3.

Day 7 –

Day 7 would be the rest day for him.

The pace of the exercise –

The workout plan is going at a high pace that Kallan Lutz only takes very little rest between the exercise probably 60-90 seconds.

Mostly he takes supersets that take the rest after the whole exercise.

  • To build the muscles he takes carbohydrates and protein during and after the training. 
  • He avoids sugar food, dairy products, and oily food and includes vegetables and fruits, meat, eggs, and fishes.
  • He uses to have five to seven-time meals in a day and takes hard-boiled eggs before to sleep.
